ABOUT
Balanced Living Psychology is the vision of Principal Psychologist, Doctor Christina Farrell who wants to help adolescents and adults navigate the challenges they face in life.​
Christina is a qualified and experienced Psychologist. She is kind and caring in her approach and loves helping clients achieve their goals and improve their life. Before she was a psychologist, she had many careers in the corporate world and understands the demands of balancing intense career and family pressure. Christina has an Economics degree, MBA, Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) degree with Honours in Psychology, and a Master of Clinical Psychology. She recently completed her Doctorate in Psychology focusing on Teenage social media usage and its impacts.

The Australian Psychological Society (APS) 2023-40 Recommended Schedule of Fees has set the standard 45 to 60 minute consultation fee at $300.

Medicare GP Referral​
Medicare rebates of $93.35 per session for Registered Psychologist for a total of 10 sessions per calendar year when you obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. Please enquire with Balanced Living Psychology in regard to accessing a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan
Private Health Fund
Rebates are available for clients with a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan, or through client’s private health fund.

Rebates on psychological services are dependent on your health fund and your level of cover. Please enquire with your health fund for specific details. Medicare rebate and private health fund can not both be used together only one.

Payment is made at the end of each session and is available via eftpos and credit card.
​
Rebates can also be provided immediately via debit card.
